Makayla Jane Simper

June 12 was an exciting day for our family. Makayla Jane Simper was born! We (especially Amanda and Erik) waited long 9 months for her arrival. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 12 oz., 21 " long, she is our 16th grandchild - and we love her so much! She was born at the new IMC Hospital - only a hop, skip, and a jump from our house! She loves to stick out her tongue, help mommy do the laundry, and gets so excited for her daddy to come home from work so they can just "chill". If Makayla could talk, she would tell grandma J's students to practice harder since she and her mommy have to listen to piano lessons while they temporarily live with us until their town home is completed in November.
