I have the most incredible mom! At age 93, she has a better memory than most people 50 years younger...she remembers names better than anyone I've ever known. How does she do it? When she meets a new person, she always asks them how they spell their name. It's somewhat embarrassing when their name is a common spelling like Bill, Ann, Jane...but she doesn't care! She then associates the name with something to remember it. When you're as popular as she is and has so many friends, how does her memory bank keep working? She claims that the daily crossword puzzle in the newspaper keeps her mind sharp! I think it's because she's being blessed for being such a truly amazing person.
